What better / worse task is there then sitting idle in the office? That's what I am doing, due to a number of factors. Before coming out of home my bed beseeched me to have a nap. But that was not possible. Now enjoy the consequence.
Despite the clouds loitering around, today could have been a perfect day for venturing out, that is the thing I haven't done so long. The endearing roads, the rustic ambience and chatting casually with my associates, have been luxuries long discarded.
Everybody says, Corona time, confine yourself to home. But office? Is it not outside home? No options, absolutely no options for the lower middle class people. I know this is not a lecture of sociology (Marx and the class struggle), so not going beyond this. I know my limits.
Physical things have been replaced by virtual options. Academic sessions are going virtual, shopping has become more virtual than ever before, above all human relationship has also turned virtual. Thanks to Corona, for giving this digital experience in a wider form.
Just sometime back received a call to invite for a virtual meeting of our monastery. Life has become so so much virtual that I wonder would there be any real or physical lifestyle anymore in future. I also hear of many people going for virtual performance of rituals these days. Not even in the remote corner of mind could anyone think of this state of life.
